What we collect and what we do with it.
Short version: we collect what you send us via La Fachada or WhatsApp, we use it to match a broker, and we do not resell it. Long version below.

What we collect
Through the La Fachada form or direct contact, we collect: your name, contact method (WhatsApp number or email), and the answers you give about timing, neighborhood, budget, purpose, and any notes you add. We also collect standard analytics (via Google Analytics) about how the site is used — page views, referrer, approximate location, device type. We do not collect financial documents, ID documents, or visa paperwork through this site.
Why we collect it
The brief data is used to match you with a broker on our roster whose inventory and coverage fits. The analytics data is used to understand which content is useful and which is not. Neither category is sold to third parties.
Who sees it
Your brief is seen by Andy (the operator) and, once a match is made, by the specific broker we introduce you to. It is not distributed to a broker pool, not sold to lead resellers, and not shared with any third party outside that one broker unless you tell us to introduce you to a second.
Data storage
Form submissions land in a private Google Sheet. Analytics data lives in Google Analytics. WhatsApp conversations live in Meta’s infrastructure, subject to their own terms. Email lives on Google Workspace. All under standard commercial terms of those providers.
How long we keep it
Active buyer briefs: for as long as you are actively looking, or two years, whichever comes first. Analytics data: standard Google Analytics retention (14 months by default). If you want your brief deleted before that, email andy@scotheo.com and we will remove it within seven days.
Cookies
We use Google Analytics cookies for aggregate site analytics. That is the only cookie category. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no retargeting pixels.
Your rights
You can request a copy of what we hold on you, request correction, or request deletion. Email andy@scotheo.com. For EU/UK visitors, GDPR applies; for California visitors, CCPA applies; the practical answer is the same either way — email us and we will action it.
Referral disclosure
When a deal closes with a broker we introduced you to, that broker pays us a referral fee out of their standard commission. This is disclosed here, in the footer, and in our About page. It costs you nothing.
Third-party links
We link out to other sites in the network (buypropertycolombia.com, medellinrealestate.co, rentmedellin.co, colombiainvestorvisa.com) — all operated by the same person, subject to their own privacy pages. We also occasionally link to external tools we recommend; where any of those are affiliate links, they are marked as such at the point of linking.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the last-updated date above and note the change in a visible callout for at least 30 days.
